This period of work was experimental in subject matter.  I was really refining technique and skill.  I had went back to school during this time so you can see different symbols being used and taking the time to understand my materials. I feel like "Drunken Salvation" is the break through piece where I took into account art history (influences from the Renaissance), Balance and profound subject matter.
